In the last 8 or 9 years that I've been touring abroad, I must say that so far, this year has been my most productive and enjoyable one.

The tour started on May 21, 2007. In Ekaterinburg, Russia, I performed at The Tchaikovsky Sveeybusk Music College with a great rhythm section that really rocked everyone in the auditorium. I also got the chance, with the help of an interpreter, to speak to about 60 music students at the college.

The next day, I took a flight with the bass player, Ashat, to his home town of Tomsk, Siberia, where we picked up another cookin' drummer and pianist.

The next morning we flew to Kemerovo, Siberia, and performed at a beautiful restaurant-club called "NA STAROM MESTE" (On Old Place Restaurant). After the performance, we drove to Novokuznetsk, checked into the Pallada Hotel for a well deserved rest, and later we enjoyed a great tour of the city. That night we performed at a huge jazz hall called The Helican Jazz Club with a packed house of about 900 people. Man, what a night!!

The next day we were in Novosibirsk to perform at another beautiful club. And the day after that, May 26, which was my last perfomance in Siberia, we returned to Tomsk, driving about 4 to 5 hours. Arriving there, we performed at Ashat's jazz club, The Art Club Corona Jazz Club.

It was truly a blessing that the two concerts and three club dates were sold out, even before I left my home in Miami, Florida to start the tour.

If you'd like, you can view a few photos of my tour in my photo gallery.

To my many fans and friends around the world, I thank you very much for your support.
